Enrollment:
Seton welcomes students from all social, economic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. Enrollment at Seton presently averages 175 students representing 30 Catholic parishes and zip codes in the greater Houston area.
Faculty:
The school faculty consists of degreed, certified and experienced teachers, including Sisters of the Dominican Order. Student/Teacher ratio is 15:1 enabling personal interaction between students and teachers which fosters a relationship conducive to growth and learning. The school staff works closely with the principal and teachers to meet the needs of the school as a whole.
Accreditation:
Seton Catholic Junior High is accredited by the Texas Catholic Education Department with endorsement from the Texas Education Agency.
Admission Requirements: Acceptance is based upon completion of the registration process. The process includes an interview with the principal and an evaluation of the student based on former teacher recommendations, test scores, and report cards. Health records are also required.

Tuition:
Parish: Registered and contributing members of a Catholic Parish. Tuition is payable in ten monthly payments of
$365.00 to Seton.
Non-Parish: Families who are not registered and contributing members of a Catholic
Parish. Tuition is payable in ten monthly payments of $410.00 to Seton.
Curriculum: Seton offers a comprehensive curriculum combining traditional academic subjects with Catholic ideals. A genuine effort is made to assure the students progress to build self-confidence and to help form a healthy self-image. Classes are organized to accommodate students of various ability levels. Because of this unique tracking system, our classes range from honors to basic. Students are placed in these classes based on grades, standardized test scores,
motivation, and teacher recommendations. Classes are organized to develop good study habits and to stimulate critical thinking.
Extra Curricular Activities: In keeping with the guidelines of Seton's philosophy to prepare well-rounded individuals, Seton offers: Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Cheerleading, Band, Teen Court, Chess, a complete sports program, and school sponsored dances. Students also have the opportunity to compete in area scholastic contests. The religious, academic, social, cultural and athletic activities sponsored and cultivated by Seton are part of the learning experience that students and teachers share. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities and through them learn social responsibilities.
